All about Oceans

The ocean is a continuous body of salt water on Earth's surface that is deposited in huge reservoirs. Even though we're all aware of the importance of oceans, it is far too easy to forget that they are absolutely vital for our survival as a species. The oceans are the world's largest ecosystem, covering more than 70% of the Earth's surface, and are home to 80% of all life, and produce 50% of the oxygen we breathe. Overexploitation and sea change, climate change and pollution are key drivers of ocean health decline.

The ocean produces around 70% of the oxygen we breathe and we have explored only about 5% of the world's oceans. Keeping the ocean from getting polluted and trashy is so important. Beaches are such a pretty place and keeping it nice can be so beneficial. The oceans give people so many jobs and careers. These jobs include fishing, sailing, tourism and entertainment, marine transport and more. The oceans have an enormous impact on the nation's economy so having a love for the ocean and really caring about it means a lot.
