Ocean Chemistry
Ocean chemistry or chemical oceanography is the study of the chemical content of
the marine environment, which is influenced by plate tectonics and the spread of
turbidity, and many other things. Ocean chemistry is important because the distribution
and responsiveness of chemical components in the ocean and at Earth's connection is
a key role of chemical Oceanography. To study the ocean and even become an ocean chemist
means you have to get at least a bachelor's degree in oceanography or in basic sciences.
Understanding ocean chemistry is important because the marine environment supports the
world's largest amount of life.
